As a Texan also, we should all be speaking fluent Spanish. Starting Spanish class in the third grade and having to take it up through college. I have stories of bars in Juarez, years living in El Paso and friends on the border, but my Spanish is still elementary. And the few times I've spent in Miami and hanging out in Ibor in Tampa, the Cuban language influence makes my head explode. All in fun. Glad you had a great and safe trip. LJB
