Been there, done that. I became the neighborhood BBQ guy. It was fun and the hobby expanded and for many years, we were a family BBQ team (brother, dad and wives). A lot of work, but the end result was always awesome. Instead of quitting cold turkey, we just started slowing down, fading out of the scene, and eventually relocating. Our bbq team dissolved and we all went on with our lives. Good article, thanks for sharing.
