Fun read Mary. I always wondered why the term "That sucks" has a negative connotation. Besides the sexual reference which is good, vacuums suck dirt, pumps suck water, sludge and other things. While various functions on machines create air pressure vacuums creating a sucking process allowing the machine to operate. But if the weather sucks, that is bad. And suck is the root for the word success. So why does carry a bad connotation?
