Great article, and it goes both ways. Being a healthy, working, financially stable widower, I enjoy solitude and independence and do not intend to get overly involved. I did try online dating a few years ago. I met a woman, and we got along well for about a year, but then as you described, her intentions became evident, as did medical, family, and emotional problems.
