Great observation and so true. I personally would've declined the invitation to attend. Not because of the table setting. I 've given up on crowds of people larger than ten and under the age of fifty. After the first round of drinks, no one remembers you're there anyway. A nice gift to the couple with a note suffices quite well. LJB
