How Pink Dinosaurs, Elastic Jeans, and War Trains Influenced Me
A routine day filled with bizarre thoughts
I had an exciting day and I am going to share it with you. My twisted sense of humor sometimes gets the best of me.
One event led to another creating a chain of light-hearted thoughts, which was refreshing considering all the political noise in the news.
Now and then, we need a few life absurdities to break up our routine lives.
Here's my story:
On Monday morning, I pulled myself out of bed. Drinking a cup of coffee, exercising, and taking a hot shower got my engine running.
A great October day it was. The weather was cool, crisp, and refreshing. Little did I realize how intriguing the week would be.
As I got ready to head to my office, I unconsciously grabbed a pink shirt. I'm not sure why; it's a tad on the bright side, but it highlighted my mood. It's also Breast Cancer Awareness month. Pink just felt like the right color to wear.
