I agree and I don't agree. I agree because excessive time spent staring at stats is a waste of time. I disagree because there are diamonds buried in the trends that stats show. Without the feedback then we are operating in the dark. Other platforms I write on do not offer as many statistics as Medium does and it's frustrating. But to your other point, an occasional break is always good. I enjoyed your article.
