I haven't come across the word in years. There's a lot involved in running organizations and businesses. I think Medium is better off with a conventional leadership model. Leadership in organizations always rises, whether the organization is a volunteer group, a corporation, a Brownie Troop or even a pack of dogs. It is near impossible to share the task of accountability, vision and growth without guidelines.
