I Read the Most Ridiculous Article I Have Seen All Week
Although my internal waste of time radar was going off like a tornado siren in Oklahoma, I read it anyway
I consume a lot of words every day and usually start my reading before I've had coffee and breakfast.
One morning, the email newsletter I got from 'Eat This Not That' highlighted a ridiculous story about one of the vainest individuals in the public spotlight. She's not a good actress and tried hard to bring down the British Royal Family, but thinks the world should stand down to her ego.
The story is titled This is Meghan Markle's Exact Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, subtitled Balance is key for the Duchess of Sussex.
I immediately wanted to barf. But then a little need for irrelevant, ridiculous celebrity news bit me, and I had to read further on.
The headline caught my attention, not because I'm a fan; I'm not. I didn't even like her in Suits. And while I'm not a massive fan of the Royal Family, it does provide a bit of comedic entertainment.
I read the article because I wanted to know what Meghan ate for breakfast. I couldn't get my mind off the topic until I satisfied my curiosity.
