I say stop wasting your time with agents and conventional publishing. There are mulitple avenues to pursue that will get your book out into the public. You've worked hard on it. You've accomplished more than your neighbor and many of the writers here on Medium. There is nothing wrong with self publishing. By the way, great article and so true. We can't let anything stop us.
