I'm there with you. Class of 72. Graduated and quickly headed to college to avoid the draft. Tried hard to hold on to my hippie values, but failed miserably at it. The inner geek inside of me came out strong in college and I became an intense student. But loved the music of the era. The old cliche stands true, it was the best of times and the worst of times.
