It Really Is 123123 Day: I Have Waited Over Sixty Years for This Moment
And I am going to enjoy the day and then shift happily to 1/1/24
Today is special. Besides being the last day of the year, the date sequentially reads as 12/31/23 or 123123. This is not a common occurrence.
I have waited over six decades for this moment. The date has double power, as the sum of the date equals 12, which is also the number of the month.
Buried in the number sequence, I am sure there is something magical about the day.
As the minutes tick down to the final moments of 2023, we can expect the day to be incredible. According to a casual web search:

Continued web searches brought consistent information. Without being too sarcastic, since there’s web consensus, it must be true. But then again, should we believe everything we read on the web? That’s a different story.
The more I reflect on the day, the more pumped I get. I am now anticipating 12:31 pm plus 23 seconds to show up on my clocks. One split second of super universal alignment is rare. It feels like waiting on Y2K.
