My back and head are skin cancer warzones. As I write this, I'm on the mend from having a sizable squamous cell carcinoma removed from the top of my right ear. I joke about how friendly MOH's and I have become. But melanoma is pretty scary, and I've had one friend die from ignoring it. I see my dermatologist once a quarter. Growing up in the sixties near Galveston Bay, was fun. But I'm paying the price now.
