Ok you touched on some good points. Although I live in Houston, but not really. Am up in The Woodlands area. Every August I wish I was in the mountains with no humidity and heat. I will admit to being born in the city, but out of spite and a need for adventure, headed to El Paso to attend UTEP, which I loved. Regarding skydiving, three jumps and I got it out of my system. Military? I waited till after Nam ended and joined the USAF as a technology geek. Was a great decision, but I ended up staying in Texas. BTW Houston is a lot more fun than Wichita Falls. Fun story.
