Susie - I've run into this on some other publications. I admire your willingness to hang in there with the intent to get published. I would've pulled the piece immediately. I'm glad though that Dr. Y got back to you, he's a good guy. But with 71 editors that are all volunteer, maintaining standards and arbitrating issues can get overwhelming. Hang in there. Lee
