My formula is: Raw draft, personal grammar and punctuation edits, then let it sit a minimum of an hour, reread with the intent to modify, delete and change things, re edit for grammar and punctuation. Wait at least an hour or more than read it outloud. Run it through grammarly or hemmingway, then declare it ready to move forward to my publisher of choice for their edits and ultimate release to the net. System works well .
