The cost of wireless charging is less than the cost of replacing my cables every 3 weeks. While direct contact cable is more efficient, it degrades the condition of the USB port over time, even causing premature port failure. I understand your point. Wireless charging seems to be evolving and becoming more efficient, unfortunately its a necessity for me. Of course I'm still trying to figure out where my headphone jack went. LOL
