Three to Five minutes. On first draft I let the story flow until I can conclude. Then as I self edit, I pull out 20 to 30 percent. Medium to me means Medium Form which is 450 to 600 words. Occasionally more, sometimes less. It all depends. This is actually a debatable topic. LOL
