Well said. This year on the fourth, I will put my flag out, then sit down and watch some of my favorite movies: Yankee Doodle Dandy, Saving Private Ryan, and then Top Gun. Eat a hot dog or two and swallow a beer. But no parades, fireworks, or picnics. In 1980 it was fun when there were just a few hundred of us in the township. Forty years later there are over 100,000 people. You can imagine the mayhem.
