You nailed it, Mel. I can't tell you how many times I've talked myself out of eating out because the economics don't work. When I was working in the city, the office was in the middle of a high restaurant-density district. Within walking distance were amazing places to eat. But spending 15 to 20 dollars a day for lunch is a lot. After a week, I started bringing my lunch or shopping at the local store for items. Thanks for the essay.
