I can’t remember what life was like without YouTube

I have a love/love relationship with YouTube. It’s my portal into the wilds of the internet. I depend on it for music, movie clips, and how-to videos, as do millions of others.

It is one of the primary elements of my browsing habits.

What did we do before YouTube?

I spent time at the library and bookstore. Plus, I hung out at the hardware store, asking for advice. I didn’t know what I didn’t know and spent much more time on projects learning as I progressed. YouTube helped fix that problem.

With YouTube, watching a good video about installing plumbing fixtures, making a great cup of coffee, or catching up on news and weather is an instant experience. Something I never imagined as viable when I was growing up.

The ease and simplicity of using YouTube are so compelling the experience is comparable to drinking water from a fountain.

The internet is a busy place. With over 2 billion websites, its connectivity provides avenues for eCommerce, remote work, banking, education, and entertainment; the world is now connected in ways that were only embryonic thoughts in the sixties.
